Birthday Vibes

Although my birthday was last month, I've finally been able to get this piece finished now that school is over. I love being a summer child, because that's my favorite time of the year. Most girls like it when it's fall or winter, because they can layer and dress up their outfits more. You can still dress up just as cute when it's warmer though! Of course like any normal girl in Texas, I like to spend my summers in t-shirts and shorts, but here is one of my birthday outfits that I hope you'll like.

The great thing about summer outfits is that you can dress more simple and don't need to add anything extra to your outfits. I actually hate adding layers. I like to wear sheer flowy blouses in the summer, because they're stylish yet breathable for me to move in. Bohemian themed outfits have been on the rise lately especially with Coachella becoming more popular. This trend is perfect for summer since its all about sheer, light, and flowy material.

My top & jeans are from Hollister Co. and my heels are from Agaci. Unfortunately my exact pair of jeans & heels are not available for sale anymore, but here's how you can get the same look:

Bohemian blouse from Hollister Co.: Hollister describes this top as vintage-inspired with colorful embroidery, split bell sleeves, & beaded tassel ties. I personally love the split bell sleeves, because it adds just a little flair into a simple shirt.

Destroyed skinny jeans from Hollister Co.: Any pair of destroyed skinny jeans will go perfect with that top. I would stick with a light washed denim so that the blue hue of the jeans doesn't take away from the pattern in the shirt.

Heels from Agaci: The lace up makes these heels sexy while it's cognac color adds a more down to earth feel to it!
